Programs

Three Teams,
Two Paths,
One Community.

Analyst Program

The Analyst Program is designed for underclassmen and new members with no prior finance experience. In addition to the general member meeting, analysts meet weekly for dedicated training sessions to build the skills needed to succeed in UFA and beyond.

Each week, our Directors of Investments and Consulting lead sessions covering accounting, valuation, financial modeling, and market analysis: everything you need to hit the ground running in UFA and in recruiting.

01

Analyst Competitions

Every analyst competes twice — once in the fall, once in the spring.

Fall Semester

Stock Pitch Competition

Analyst teams select any publicly traded stock on a U.S. exchange, build their investment thesis, and defend it in front of a room. Top teams advance to a final round.

Format — Round 1 open to all analyst teams. Top 6 advance to finals.
Universe — Any stock listed on a U.S. exchange. Team selects the company.
Judges — UFA upperclassmen and finance alumni.
Prize pool — $1,000 split across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Spring Semester

Case Competition

Analyst teams are assigned a real corporate case and given approximately one week to develop and present their recommendation.

Format — Round 1 open to all analyst teams. Top 6 advance to finals.
Client — A real corporation. Case details released one week before presentations.
Judges — Active industry professionals from the finance and business community.
Prize pool — $1,000 split across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Mentorship

Get paired with UFA upperclassmen who guide you through recruiting, technical prep, and everything they wish they knew when they started.

Market Watch

Weekly sessions covering market-moving news, macro trends, and sector developments. The fastest way to build the market intuition recruiters test for.
